LAURA (1998) - Ep. 6 (Part I)

SUMMARY (Part I): Pere doesn’t like his name, especially when his mother tells him it was the nurse who came upon it by seeing his “pear face”. Then, Pere thinks very seriously about changing his name. He speaks to Sara (who suggests him “Josué”) and to his brother and finally he decides to call himself “Kaori”, a Japanese name.
Later, he goes to see David (the lawyer who works with his mother) with the intention of getting his name officially changed. David tries to dissuade the young boy by asking him 180 euros (30.000 pesetas). However Pere manages to raise the money by selling all of his toys and even his brother’s checked shirt (and the favourite of Cristina, Joan’s girlfriend).
